Faces of Heritage: A Digital Renaissance

Digital portraits that have no interest in being pretty. They are trying to say something.

I have a complicated relationship with the word "cultural appreciation." Everyone claims it. Very few earn it.

This collection is my attempt to earn it. Portraits built in Midjourney, inspired by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and India. Not as backdrops. Not as aesthetics. As identities that carry centuries of detail worth rendering carefully.

I grew up knowing what it feels like when your culture is referenced but not understood. I did not want to make that kind of work.

Make of that what you will.
